ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
We are a mid-twenties couple who have both been in the scene for a few years as singles and now together.
With professional backgrounds in customer service and the health sector, we pride ourselves in our professionalism, confidentiality, and provision of high-end, classy, and thoroughly vetted events, focusing on creating an attractive, safe and supportive environment to explore your sexuality, interests, and fantasies.
Having ventured into the scene at relatively young ages (19 and 23), we are sympathetic to how intimidating it can be to pursue sexuality and desires in a space like the adult party scene where you are surrounded by strangers of different ages, experiences and personalities who you may not typically approach in alternate settings.
Recognising this, we have dedicated our efforts to creating a more niche environment of like-minded and similarly aged individuals to allow our events to feel more approachable, safe and appealing for both experienced and inexperienced members of the scene.

OUR VETTING PROCESS
Personally, we enjoy ourselves most when we are exploring our desires with attractive, like-minded, and well-cultured individuals.
Who wouldn’t?
We appreciate intellectual & respectful conversation, shared interests, and physical attraction. In our opinion, these are the foundation of seduction. Our vetting process is highly exclusive and is based on attraction of a physical, mental, and emotional capacity.
We will ask you for photos as well as to answer a few general questions about yourself and your interests, to gauge all aspects of attraction.
We are an exclusive service provider and are therefore very selective.
We will aim to politely inform you if you have not been successful in our specific vetting process however during busy periods this may sometimes be missed and for that we apologise.
If you are unsure or waiting on an outcome, feel free to contact us on instagram or via email as these are our most frequently checked platforms.
We stress that if you are unsuccessful, this does not lessen your value/worth or attractiveness, it simply means that for our specific target audience, you have not been successful in joining our guest list.
Majority of our guest’s ages range in the 21-35 age bracket, however exceptions may be made on occasion for the right individuals.
Please note: we are currently only accepting applications for single females, couples and paired play partners.
OUR APPROACH AND STANDARDS
For some, attending events is familiar and something that has been done before. For others, it may be a new experience.
Some join to explore opportunities or desires that may be frowned upon or shamed by the less sex-positive members of society. Some join to explore their sexuality. Some people join for the opportunity to experience more “firsts”, kinks, or fantasies.
This is often as exciting as it can be intimidating if you’ve never been in this environment before. We create a safe and supportive environment, so you can have fun.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful, intimidating, or generally frowned-upon behavior. You will be asked to leave and not invited to return. All reports of these types of behavior are taken very seriously, though these individuals are unlikely to get through our very selective vetting process.
Consent is non-negotiable and must be gained for any interaction during our events. If you are interested in an individual, pair, or group in any activity or interaction, you must first gain consent.
It is important to understand individuals' boundaries and personal rules and stick to them. We have zero tolerance for discriminatory behavior and are supportive of all sexualities and sexual preferences.
Our events and exclusive group of attendees predominantly identify as heterosexual, bisexual, or bicurious. Your hosts identify within these 3 sexualities and unfortunately do not have the personal experience, knowledge, or capacity to cater to the wider LGBTQIA+ community in our events, so please keep this in mind when applying.
P.S. You don’t need a label, this is only for your own information on the individuals then tend to attend our events.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND PHOTO-BAN
Phones will be allowed in the separate bar area, however, patrons are encouraged not to use them. Phones and any other recording-capable devices are not allowed in the play spaces. We will have a secure storage area for valuable items to be kept outside of the play area.
We have a strictly NO photography policy at the venue to respect the privacy and confidentiality of our members. If you would like to take photos of yourselves, please do so outside of the venue with the consent of all included in the photo and ensure you are not capturing others in the background. Please also ensure that if you are posting these photos to social media, you do not share our location or any hints at where it may be. We keep our venue confidential for our vetted guest’s knowledge only as an extra measure of exclusivity and protection of privacy.
Behind Closed Doors Melbourne will under no circumstances post any confidential information or photographs of guests unless explicitly consented to in writing or a signed media sharing waiver. We heavily prioritize the privacy of all our guests and the value of informed consent.
SAFE ENCOUNTERS
Patron safety, comfort, and enjoyment is our number one priority. Having a professional background in health, this is particularly at the forefront of our minds. To interact at our events, we insist all patrons take protective measures and use the prophylactics provided.
We are also conscious that infection can be spread through multiple sexual acts, not just penetration, so at our events we will have the OPTION to submit sexual health screen results to us prior to the event as a further measure of informed decision making.
If choosing to do this, your sexual health screening will need to have been completed (samples collected) within 14 days of the event. If you have submitted a clean screen to us, we will place your entry stamp on your right wrist. If you have not submitted any information to us, we will place your entry stamp on your left wrist.
This provides a subtle but efficient way for patrons to make informed decisions about their sexual encounters, although we still encourage discussing sexual health with potential play partners.
OUR CREATIVE PROCESS
We love an excuse to dress up classy as much (and probably more) as the next person, so this is our bread and butter for standard events.
This does not mean we turn our nose up to a good theme on the odd occasion!
We host our standard high class events monthly, with 2x themed events spread across the year, around the winter and summer solstice.
We pride ourselves on our own creativity, but love to hear feedback and ideas from our patrons. We will be regularly sharing polls and feedback loops on our instagram account so make sure to follow us to get your say in!
Think “not-yet-done” themes, extravagant décor, and unique ideas that will only heighten the air of seduction and provocation, rather than detract from it.
THE VENUE
After starting our business at an upmarket South Melbourne venue with stunning decor, lighting, DJ booths, multiple bars and VIP areas, we quickly realised that we did not have enough play space and needed an upgrade!
In light of this we have been in touch with a new purpose built venue nearby, however we e are awaiting the completion of their build before we officially move in! This means we are currently nomads and hosting sporadic hotel based play events and pub based meet & greets. We are hoping to be using the new purpose built venue by the end of 2024! When we move into our new home base we will be looking to cap our events at about 80-100 guests.For our current smaller or events or specialty events in the future we are running smaller/more intimate events of about 30 guests.
For all of our events we do not exchange exact venue location until payment is received and you have been added to the guest list. This ensures individuals who have not been vetted and invited to our event, cannot arrive unannounced and cause issue for staff or guests. We ask that if you are successful in securing a ticket, you DO NOT DISCLOSE VENUE LOCATION to anyone who does not have their own ticket. We absolutely love word of mouth referrals and are grateful when guests direct their friends to chat with us, however in order to keep everyone safe and maintain exclusivity & confidentiality, we ask you kindly leave this information to vetted and booked guests only. If referring your friends, you can simply inform them that the venue is located in South Melbourne.
